Sadly, Dylan, whether or not pathological fundamentalists

actually know what they are talking about, they are busily, self-righteously doing great damage to the gift we have in our Planet.  They are conspiring to commit planetary suicide, in an effort to bring about their own days of Rapture. Even by their own moral code, suicide is a sin.  Narrow mind, narrow vision...

Moyers is sharp, for sure.  It's scary the environmental policy coming from this White House and its fossil fuel-worshipping supporters in business.  But I wouldn't worry so much about religious fundamentalism among the American public; many of them don't know what the Bible actually says, and, if they did, they wouldn't like it.

Millions of Years
This world has been here millions of years already. Sin has grownthrew the years. We can not stop the sin itself. The world has been slowly destroying because of pesticides and pollutions, chemicals from heaven knows where. We today can not stop what already has been damaged. But we can stop it in the future.

empty handed painter
I apologize profusely for speaking ill of Bill Moyers' moral conduct.  I confused him with Charles Kuralt who died a few years ago.  I should have been more careful.  But speaking of apologies, I read where Bill Moyers called James Watt on February 8, this year and "apologized profusely" for misquoting and misrepresenting his views.  Many people have said for years that Mr. Moyer's liberal views make the mainstream media look centrist.  He seems to take pleasure in whipping up indignation and has not always been 100 percent truthful in doing so.

Didn't George Bush have a penile implant?

Inuendo:  character assassination by suggestion.

Whether or not some unsavory items are true, they are irrelevant to other truths.  My dad was much admired in his work and did great things in his profession that earned him respect and affection, and were solid.  He lacked comprehension adn appreciation of basic psychology, which made our lives at home rather sad,  but it didn't make his work less worthy.

Pappy, if you are going to take a dig, at least make it meaningful

Didn't Bill Moyers have two wives,
at the same time?

Wow.

That's terrifying...  How many sensible people will read this in various places, and understand the need to do something besides go with this insane flow of theocratic nonsense?  I have some ideas how to spread it a bit further...  in case my congressmen haven't seen it...
