how sad
these are the things that get under your skin even if you didn't know the person at all... why do they happen? :(

kingmi - We do have a tendency to take on things we don't really need and can't do anything about, don't we.

Tapsel, I wrote a poem a few years back with the phrase in it,
I am no longer hungry for the guilt of others.  I'm not sure what that meant but it seems to sum up what we are talking about.

kingmi - I had a doctor who saved my life when I was 20.   He was young and vital and with a wonderful personality and within a year died of a heart attack.   That was bad enough.   I cannot imagine having the shock of knowing someone who died in the WTC.   That was bad enough for me even though I didn't know any of the victims.
