Quirky, thank you for the suggestion. But try to notice the faces of

strangers. Any that you seem to be seeing repeatedly, on the street at Christmas time, at the mall on weekends, new employees at work, etc? Those are the ones you want to get to know. They are called human beings.

And yes, it is way too late. Ariala and I are like that (touchdown signal).

Ariala, OK, now to the most important question of the night. Why am i

obsessed?

a) because being concerned with you means I don't have to be concerned with me;

b) because you are able to blog 20 hours a day, have a relationship and a full-time job;

c) because you are a great writer just waiting to explode on the scene with a great novel, and you have rejected my story line for you;

d) because, like most great people, you do not know "...whom to cling to when the rain sets in" as Elton John first noted about Norma Jean Baker, and later about Princess Di. Stick with the ones who care about you!

e) because what you represent in the macro-environment, psychologically speaking, is the most popular girl in high school;

f) because having your attention, when so many others are clammering for it, takes me back to my sociological roots as the 6th out of 8 children;

g) because I truly do not believe that the others who are obsessed with you have your best interests at heart, as witnessed by my rejection of your invitation to join the harem;

h) because to shoot for the top is my natural tendency;

i) because...I guess I'll post the rest of the alphabet in my next blog...I'm going to bed.

Ariala, I plan to write my next headline utilizing your most recent comment

to me, however, as I was in graduate school, I am wont to mis-read certain pertinent or salient aspects of research. For example, when you wrote You're a funny guy, dude and I'm gonna get a kick out of this blog!

I read, "You're a funny guy, dude, and I'm gonna kick the sh** out of you the next time I see you." I assumed it would be at the Bloggers Ball, out in Blair Witch, Missouri.

Well, if you are obsessed with her, join the crowd. Quite a few of them, with Horus being the latest to join her "harem".

As for me, I don't do the obsession thing. Besides, I am more or less (mostly less) on the same wavelength as her. We make better kindred spirits than soulmates!
