Welcome back!

Hope you are still feeling better. I usually stick with norton (symantec) software - they also have a free online checker to see if you have viruses or susceptible to trojans/hackers etc.

I'm so sorry to hear about your troubles. Glad you are feeling better and writing again. Sometimes a new computer is the only solution. I'm in the process of replacing my tired, worn out machine with a new one too. Yes, it is a job, ugh! Good luck and take care.

Spitfire70, Not only could I not get on line but my computer would not run any programs. I was on the phone McAfee for hours. I can not stan to speak to them. Talk about horrible customer service.

Yay! MelodyStar is back!! Sorry you were ill!

I was wondering why you weren't around for a bit. Glad you're better. Oh, and I FREAKIN HATE McAfee!! I bought their Virus Scan and Firewall and when it suddenly stopped working, I tried to contact them via internet chat and phone and NO ONE could help me. Idiots!!

Glad your feeling better

I was almost that sick 5 years ago. It took 3 months and I don't know how many doctors to finally figure out I had depression.

I know the feeling!

I had computer problems about two months ago and went crazy because I couldn't post anything. I have ditched my internet provider and recently gotten DSL. I love it. My computer is faster with relatively no problems at all. I'm glad to hear that you feel better.
