I can't believe I did that! Oh well, here is a poem I recently wrote and it is actually in my poetry blog! FALLEN HEROES Everyone was sleeping as the smoke curled through the air. About this Blog

I have written poetry of one sort or another for over 30 years. Now in the mid of my life, I have gotten secure enough in it's quality and other's have sufficiently reinforced it's desirability, I have decided to do something with it. Many of the enterings here are in contests and we'll see how they do. Also, I will have a blog of Haiku, which is Japanese poetry of strict adherence to form and style. My third blog will be for military poetry, which has recently been subjected to public scrutiny, illiciting most powerful emotions. So I offer all to you to enjoy!
