Wind sweeps over the lonely hill rushing through barren branches - so cold, it freezes drops of moisture left by the early morning rain still clinging to the tips of branches She could almost feel the chill as she looked out at the tree they stood under just a moment ago or so it seemed to her longing heart He’d held her close, her ear against his chest as his heart raced and his breathing labored and in a moment’s whisper their lips met moist yet barely touching as if afraid Then slowly his...
