What do you think of the death penalty?

I think there are some crimes for which death can be an appropriate punishment. However, I think the death penalty should be reserved for crimes in which the criminal is caught "red-handed." Saddam's Supporters

I'm pretty sure that the people fighting against American and British troops in the name of "supporting Saddam" are really supporting their their own rise to political power or quest for preferential treatment in a repressive society.
