This blog to merge again with The Bunny Blog

I've decided to merge Political Bunny with The Bunny Blog. The Bunny Blog is far more popular, and lately I haven't felt the need to maintain a blog that is completely about politics. I will keep this blog up so people can read the old posts. Sign in to see full entry.

Nader thinks he'll get votes from Republicans???

In an interview with NPR today, Ralph Nader said he is definitely not a spoiler in the presidential race. He says he won't be taking votes from the Democratic nominee. He says, and I heard him say it with his own words, that he'll be getting votes from "Independents and Republicans who would... Sign in to see full entry.

Did you know Cheney has a gay daughter?

Apparently this is no big secret. Mary Cheney has always been open about her sexual orientation. Now a group of people, including political consultant John Aravvosis, have created www.DearMary.com, a website devoted to convincing Mary Cheney to speak out publically for gay marriage. Vice-President... Sign in to see full entry.

I admire Howard Dean

A lot of people in Dean's position let their egos run away with them. But Dean will not be a third-party candidate. He is going to try to inspire the people who have worked so hard for him to keep working for the Democratic nominee, the Democratic party in general, and the ideas and ideals for which... Dean Thoughts

Anyone see Dean on Letterman last night? I didn't, but I this morning on Morning Edition heard clips from his " Top Ten Ways I, Howard Dean, Can Turn Things Around." (I'll print it below because I know this link might not last more than a day or so.) Yes, it was hilarious. Yes, what he said, and how... Sign in to see full entry.

AC/DeanC!

Anyone catch Howard Stern this morning? Apparently some media outlets, particularly the New York Post, have been declaring Dean "crazy" for "having a meltdown" last night after he came in third in the Iowa caucases. Howard played the tape of Dean's speech, no doubt hoping to really hear something... Sign in to see full entry.

Do addicts really make the best soldiers?

Anyone see the CBS News report about the Iraqi volunteers being trained as soldiers by US forces? They don't have a problem with a co-ed force. (In fact, Iraq has traditionally been one of the countries in which men and women interact socially and in business.) There are some female Iraqi... Sign in to see full entry.

Well, I guess I can't complain about the Mars missions anymore

Apparently they will pump a lot of money into the Arizona economy, particularly into UA and ASU and surrounding areas, and some of the major tech companies, including one which employs Uncle F. So the rest of you can just suffer from a lack of social services as all the government's money goes to... Sign in to see full entry.
