Australia is in the middle of a full-blown election campaign right now. It's been a bit bloody (as one might expect), it's been controversial (again, as one might expect) it's been full of loaded promises that hopefully will come home to roost when the song and dance routines are no longer necessary. But best of all it appears to be a tussle between comparative equals.
