The Lullaby

The Lullaby I have an ancient copy Of my mother’s Lullaby Her teardrops Blur the page I heard her sing In early Spring Before I saw her cry Before she flew away I can’t recall the tune At all I knew at such a tender age I long to hear her sing Again One word could mend An injured wing Or open up...
