Tinnitis
Tinnitus is an annoying ringing in one's ears that can drive you crazy! I've had it for about 4 years now. It happened one day when someone popped a balloon in the room I was in. They were not real close, but it was loud. Instantly my left ear began to ring quite loud. I also noticed after a few days that some sounds had changed in that ear. Piano music sounded "tinny".
