When The-Right-Hand-of-The-Devil came into the office in the mornings, first he would unlock his office, then he would get coffee, and then he would call. When he called, I had to leap from my office and go into his to find out what he wanted me to do for the day. Usually, he had files to be found (dug out), letters to dictate, and phone calls to make.
