Trying to write my first blog.

Hello, I'm trying to write my first blog entry and am having difficulty. $0$0 $0 $0I typed it all out but it all ran together with dollar signs and zero's in place of paragraphs. So I thought, well maybe I need to use html, so I tried that and no go.$0 $0$0 $0 $0How do you get paragraphs and breaks?$0
