Improbable

Improbable When the soot and choking drift subsided, and it did, because I know now. An impression was rendered. Broken trees, and smoldering stumps of bodies, formerly living, far from here, far from now and dead, splayed in the spit of now, lay in twists opposing. Ripped earth lay open, the roots...
