Nations

I'm asleep while the earth turns I'm awake when it stops I remember when i was five When i thought the world was at my feet The was pure innocence in my eyes When i grew up it left me Darkness surrounded me Held me captive to the harshness of life I saw councilors and chaplains No one could save me No one to trust No one to love Deserted and alone My wrist bleeding My thoughts no longer happy My only hope was death My only dream was to leave I wanted to cry I wanted to sob I choked on my tears...
