What are we all looking for?

What is the nature of happiness and what are we all seeking in life, anyway? I submit we are seeking out true nature which manifests as peace, joy, love and light. What we all seek is within, not outside of us. Toward the One, United with All... this is the secret of life. Truth lives in Unity...the... Sign in to see full entry.

The Way of All Truth including Forgiveness is Through the Breath

Commentary: Mastery is in the breath. Light is in the breath. Blessing is in the Breath, and Truth (Ya Huk) is in the breath. Take a moment to observe your breathing. Do not try to change it merely notice it. Are you breathing deep or shallow? Through your nose or mouth or both? Fast or slow? How is... Sign in to see full entry.

Thank God for Good Friends

Throughout this housing ordeal, I have been well cared for by my friends who have, on ocassion provided shelter, food, and most importantly, company and love. I am headed home today to finish transferring my earthly stuff to a garage so that I will be out of my apartment for good. I moved another... Sign in to see full entry.

We can live in a state of forgiveness

I believe it is possible to live in a "state of forgiveness" in which even while we are being attacked or hurt, we can feel only (or mostly) love and compassion toward our attacker. Ghandi of course, did this. But we are not Ghandi, you say, and I say yes, we have everything he had. We just need to... Sign in to see full entry.

One can experience profound forgiveness even if the injured party is dead or refuses to let go of the hurt. Now... Sign in to see full entry.

Forgivenss is No Majic Bullet

The first thing to know about forgivness is that it can only occur where one perceives that real hurt has occurred (even though that is not really possible in the light of God's perfect creation). Since it is not possible in the Creation of God (which only is real) to be hurt, then hurt must be an... Sign in to see full entry.

To forgive is to let go

I guess the most upset I got was when I arrived home from sufi camp to find my electric and water turned off and a padlock on my water, and all my refrigerator food was gone. I called the water district and they said they did not turn it off. It took a day or two, but I eventually got the padlock... Sign in to see full entry.

How to forgive: A case study

My landlord used to be my employer as well. I did the maintanence on 16 apartments he owns including my own. One day he decided I was trying to rip him off (untrue) and he fired me and evicted me all in the same day. It did not end there. He also shut off my water and electricity and had a car I was...
