Anaheim Three.

The high-flying racers await the next round of the THQ Supercross Championship Series. The helmet-cam shots from atop Ricky Carmichael’s helmet have been phenomenal whether you are an RC fan or not. They illustrate just how long the bikes stay in the air over the triples and just how high they get.... Sign in to see full entry.

Billy Who?

San Francisco, round 4 of the THQ Supercross series saw a handful of unfamiliar names taking spots in the 125cc class. Finishing first was Billy Laninovich followed by Andrew Short and Ivan Tedesco rounding out the podium. Fourth went to Ryan Morias, followed in order by Brett Metcalfe, Bryan... RC top dog at Anaheim.

Ricky Carmichael bested the field winning the Third round of Supercross. It was a close race for a couple of laps with Chad Reed giving a respectable chase and even closing in on RC from time to time. Then just when it looked as if Reed would make his charge, he crashed in a rhythm section. It was a... Sign in to see full entry.

Correction to Anaheim 2 post regarding TV times.

According to my Direct TV on-screen guide the race will air at 7:00 and 8:00 Pacific time. I have corrected this in the post so if you want to watch the race, check your local listings for the correct time. Thank you for your understanding. Sign in to see full entry.

Anaheim again.

The supermen of Supercross line up on the gates again to see who can finish second. Or so it seems. As long as Ricky Carmichael gets a good start there seems to be little anyone can do to even keep up with the kid on yellow. The weather sounds like it will co-operate for the race. Last reports were... Sign in to see full entry.

Showdown put on hold.

James Stewart Jr. versus everyone else will have to wait 4 to 6 weeks while he recovers from a broken arm he suffered during practice in Phoenix. It is a testament to just how skilled these riders have to be to avoid these kinds of injuries. Joining him is Travis Pastrana, injured during the 250... Sign in to see full entry.

Supercross gets in out of the rain.

Last Saturday’s race at Anaheim was terrible for everyone but Kevin Windam. While it may have answered a question for Kevin whether he could win or not, the real question remains to be answered in Phoenix Arizona as the gentlemen of the dirt ballet journey to a drier climate to do battle once again.... Anaheim Supercross a big splash.

Take the best dirt bike riders in the world, put them into a high-stakes feverishly anticipated race, add some mud, no, make that add lots of mud, ok, a ridiculous amount of mud and all bets are off. First the 125cc class tiptoed out onto the track and right away last years 125 West champion Ivan... Sign in to see full entry.

Supercross sure to be a muddy mess.

The rains continue to dampen the ubiquitous California sun. The Anaheim Supercross will surely be a thing of sheer dirtiness. I haven’t watched it yet and haven’t checked any results for a very specific reason. When it airs on ESPN2 Sunday January 9 at 9:00 am pacific time I want to be surprised.... The faces of Supercross.

You’ve read reports I have posted. Largely the same names get repeated every race, but who are these people? I have a few photos of them that I have taken, but I haven’t yet figured out a quick and easy way to post them so that is done for a while. Now I can point you to a link that puts a face to...
