Over the mountains Across the sea A war is at bay A loved one being lost When he returns home How can he cope The images in his dreams Leaving him screaming Leaving him in a cold sweat each night The sounds of bombs going off Bullets flying by his ears Helicopters up above The sight of people he’s unable to help People he’s unable to save Holding them in his arms Carrying them across a village Crying for fallen comrades Angry to get even To some he was a hero To others he was a killer He fought...
