Roots Run Deep
I am home. There’s no place like home.* This is where my roots are. My family has scattered all over hte U.S. but they are pulled to Kansas, the heartland, by roots that run deep. The farm has been sold. Our youngest brother was left the guardian of our heritage, our roots, but he let meth do his thinking.
