Obligation or Opportunity?
In Conversations with God Book 1 (Ch. 8), God says in relationships, the key is not obligation; it's opportunity and we are under no obligation in a relationship. Instead it is opportunity that a relationship brings with it; opportunity is the basis, the cornerstone of spirituality. He goes on to say that marriage is a scared, oops, a SACRED relationship because of its endless bounds for opportunity. I thought I’d leave that typo in there as a Freudian slip.
