Curtains

I have brand new orange curtains. The most beautiful orange-red satin-silk with tiny little beads that reflect the morning sun. At the moment my curtains are still drawn, and since it’s day outside, they’ve become alive in the light, the guardians of my space…protecting me from the day…giving me a bit more darkness…rest…peace.
