Why is the human so special? Not a sermon, just a Praise! Peace of God to y

1 John 1:3 reminds us that only humans, in God's handiwork, bear His image. Some interpret this to mean "intelligence," some think it refers to "will and choice/freedom," and yet others will say, "ability to praise, love, and fellowship." Surely, we are higher in many ways from animals, and the angels. One writer says the angels were created before humans, and God gave his love to them. My Political Allegiances

The Bible exhorts us to be kind to strangers, exiles, and aliens. This is true in both the Old and New Testaments. For instances Hebrews 13: 1-2 says we may entertain angels when we treat strangers kindly. American Christians of the Trump kind, ones I call Trumplings, will not likely graduate to this level of Christian maturity any time before November 8th, 2016. Shalom, shalom! 2 Corinthians 6:2 says, "Do you NOT know that the saints will judge the world." just below, v.6 adds, "Is it possible that there is nobody among you wise enough to judge a dispute between believers." Jesus Christ was kinder to "outsiders and exiles" than to the "religious" ones called Pharisees, Sadduccees, Scribes and Sanhedrin priests. We are doing the reverse. When Donald Trump was invited by Liberty University and specifically its president Jerry Falwell, Jr. during the Republican Party Primary season (February 2016, on Martin Luther King Day of all days!) the Donald quoted "two Corinthians." Those who study the Bible usually say "Second Corinthians." But TRUMP was simply currying favor with conservatives by referring to the verse that inspired the name Liberty U. Even his admirers, and real Christians who read the Bible, are great at judging the world, not each other. We Christians also compete and backbite each other.
