A Night Like Tonight

A winter night like tonight in Kansas City. I spent many cold days visiting this place with my sons when they were young. Just through those trees a steep hill went down that made for great sledding, and in the distance a great view of Downtown Skyline. Sign in to see full entry.

It's Santa

Santa comes every year to see Great-Granddaughter Marianna. She loves him dearly. Marianna does not know him at all in any other way so to her he is the real Santa even though he never brings reindeer with him. This is a dear man that every year he visits so many children at Christmastime. He grows... Sign in to see full entry.

Snow Across The Road, But Not Here

Today was sunny, bright and warm, no-coat weather and people were fishing and jogging, and walking their dogs beyond those posts. I was not familiar with even the name "Cortana" until my computer changed itself from Windows 7 to Windows 10. When the Cortana Bot... Sign in to see full entry.

The Last Time

It has begun again and is gathering steam. Last week's flooding will, more than likely, be repeated. The meteorologists are predicting 7" all coming down at the same time. Thank you Lord for the pretty days in between this and the last time. Sign in to see full entry.

Bang Bang You're Dead

Back in the days when children played outside, made up their own games, and parents felt free to let the little ones roam and discover nature on their own, we did all that. Now, I would not let a child play "bang bang you're dead", but in that day, it seemed harmless and ludicrous. Colorado's Garden... Sign in to see full entry.
