The Boring Cave
We got dumped on this evening, lots and lots and lots of rain that came down all at once, flooded my plants on the porch, inundated our curving road around the lakes and down past the runoff creek, and took away our electricity just five minutes before the CHIEFS / Eagles football game was to start....

I Think I Need One
I can't believe it. It is still summer here and yet, I have put on my winter flannel PJ's and some fuzzy socks to keep my feet warm. Yesterday I still had my a/c going full blast. I love the weather changes of the Midwest. No matter what the meteorologists on TV predict, one never knows for sure...
