Sleep

I smile as I watch you sleep body curled up like a little child captured in his mother's love. In your peaceful face I see love's total grace and beauty, its sanctity in the gentleness of your hand and in the playful curve of your lips I see the flavor of your soul. Sleep my love. Take your rest. Let your shadow wander to some distant place where love flourishes and dwells as a small creature would, waiting to be born, among visions of what will be and memories of what was Sleep, love, sleep.
