I never stopped wondering what the legends on our gadgets say: ‘Brand New’ means they use different paint for a change. ‘All New’ means parts are not exchangeable with the old ones. ‘ Foolproof’ means you cannot tinker with its interiors. ‘Advanced Design’ means you don’t understand them at all....
