Lightning Bugs (quatern) I remember the lightning bugs How they lit-up a mason jar Or dimly lit an old milk jug As us kids played in the back yard Feel the tickle of one in hand I remember the lightning bugs Magic I did not understand Good feeling like a mothers hug Holding God's miracle so snug What a special time of childhood I remember the lightning bugs All that this life held was so good Joy waiting for them to appear Right before daylight was unplugged A thousand lights for a child to...
