Dead bugs lying around the house...how to get rid of them quickly!

No, I'm not insane but this really is an insane idea that works! Every summer when the bugs start getting into the house- gnats, ants, flies, bees, crickets, spiders, etc, etc- my hubby likes to kill the bugs and let them lie where they die so that I know he has been a good boy and has gone around... There's a Place for Everything and Everything is in its Place...

NOT! Why is it that when I put something away, I can almost always remember where I put it? Maybe it's because I group things together or maybe because I try to put it close to where I will need it. Or maybe I just have a good memory. So why is it that my hubby decided to clean up the garage while I... Sign in to see full entry.

How I keep my plans for the week straight,

especially when we have 6 people in the family! It sure is a difficult thing...to remember who is doing what and on which day. Plus, I began to hate looking at the little day planner because I had to dig it out (after I remembered which purse I left it in), then I had to flip through the pages... Sign in to see full entry.

Ewwwww, smelly, stinky wet sports shoes...what to do, what to do?

My son plays a lot of sports and needless to say, sweats a lot--through his feet! This is a common problem with many people I know. The worst part is that my son will leave his shoes in the entrance way and smell it up-PU. My hubby wanted me to use those spray cans of different aromas. I didn't want... Sign in to see full entry.

Outside in the old dog house,

there lies the body of my daughter's old dead scarecrow. Two years ago for Halloween, the girlscouts had to stuff an old shirt and pair of pants (dad's of course) and make this scarecrow. Well, she gave it a head too but that eventually fell off and got thrown away. She couldn't bear to part with... Sign in to see full entry.

Yesterday, my brother brought me a spider

plant fledgling...from the group of plants that used to be my dad's. Every year he tries to bring me something from my dad's stock of plants or even from his own. Ny dad had a greent thumb and used to while away the evening hours after he had finished a long hard day at work, gardening away. The... Sign in to see full entry.

Can you believe I melted my daughter's ...

shorts??? I guess I had the iron on too high. I can say she was not happy with me. In fact, she was downright ticked...she doesn't have too many pairs that she likes to wear and I really did melt the whole left cheek...the cheek of me... Anyway, the moral of this story is either #1 make sure the... Sign in to see full entry.

City water versus well...

Well, well when I lived in the city, the water was great...I never had to use flouride toothpaste because the water had enough flouride for tons of people. And I never had to buy a mildew stain remover because I never had mildew. aND i COULD BOIL MY WATER ON THE STOVE WITHOUT WORRYING ABOUT SCUM... Sign in to see full entry.

Kids, what are they good for? My oldest

daughter left a plastic bag-from a store-made with lots of color upon the rec room floor. She left it there for days, no, I lie, for weeks. Finally, the fing dog decided to take a _ _ _ _ on it. Fill in the blank, okay, okay....a piss on it. Well, the #@$%* pink die in the plastic bag leaked from... Sign in to see full entry.
