How long has it been since you went through the job interview process? Lately I have been through a few and each one of them are extraordinary different. Maybe my age is starting to show but the workforce seems so young, immature and slobish ( is that a word?)! For instance today I went to an... Sign in to see full entry.

A couple of my fellow bloggers and I have been observing the writings taking place on another blog site. On that site there is a former blogit member who is calling for the head of the British Librarian. That blogger believes the BL was created for the sole purpose of making fun of yet another... I believe all of us on this site share the same love for books. During my return trip from MaggieMaes I stopped off at the Lepper Library in the same small town I wrote about yesterday. The last time I had been in the place was back in 1965-66 although I have passed it no less than a hundred times... Sign in to see full entry.

Today I took a drive through the small town I used to live in as a kid. I rode around the old elementary school and down streets I haven't been on in years. As I was turning towards McKinley eyes were fixated on a For Sale sign in front of an old craftsman style house. My mind flashed back to... Sign in to see full entry.

I feel like I've been on vacation while staying with MaggieMae. We haven't blogged on a regular basis because we have been busy doing girl stuff. Yesterday Maggie and I enjoyed watching two movies back to back. The latter one was "Message in a Bottle." I thought I had seen it before but... Sign in to see full entry.

Last night the snow began to fall and the wind was blowing hard. It looks like I am going to be snowed in at Maggies for at least a day or so. On top of that there is another snow storm making it's way towards the Ohio valley. Oh brother! I've already asked Maggie if she wanted to make snow angels,... Sign in to see full entry.

Here in the great state of Ohio the traditional New Year menu consists of sauerkraut baked for hours along side a pork roast. The reason we eat this is still somewhat of a mystery to me. I do know the kraut is suppose to clean out the body so I understand the cleansing. I don't know about the pork... Sign in to see full entry.

I have decided this damm New Years Eve to make 1 (one) frackin resolution for 2008. Sure as hell I am determined to clean up my fracking potty mouth. Shit, I know I can do it! There will be no more shits and damms, dammit! I will not run with those damm people who influence me to cuss(the BL) Damm... Sign in to see full entry.
