A Dog's Life and Wish for Death
I looked for the old Chow dog that typically lays on the sidewalk between the Victories Opera Hotel and the restaurant next to it, but he was not there. On my trips to Paris, I bring a couple of dog treats for him as he is the consummate doorman for a city in love with their dogs. I assumed that he had either passed away or was safe at home.
