Surrounded by Degos and Magpies
It is easy to forget that the Old Hickory Steakhouse sits in the middle of the of the everglades atrium of the Gaylord Palms resort. Open beamed cathedral ceilings support the corrugated tin roof. Old suitcases stacked behind the rusting bar setting take the patron to just about any tropical locale they can dream of. For this traveler, the setting is a romantic tropical jungle.
