Matty Alou was extremely fast. Just not fast enough to save the 1962 World Series for the Giants. The Giants trailed in the bottom of the ninth inning of game seven. The Yanks led 1-0. As Matty led off the inning he crossed-up the Yankees with a drag bunt. It was a Matty Alou art form. Laying it down and beating it out.
