Should We Be Excited by "End Times"?

I've noticed a few blogs on Armageddon over the past few weeks, most of which were rather cynical and negative as to the whole concept of "End Times". Please God, give me eyes and ears that are truly open to YOU. It is so easy to rebel and run in the opposite direction.
