God's purpose for us
Obstacles in life never cease, and as we develop coping mechanisms to solve these perennial problems, we often forget that we have made choices without first looking to God for guidance. And of course, we end up feeing befuddled and wonder where He is in the first place. Things go wrong, of course, when our version of what life should be like is different from what God envisages it to be. What we want for ourselves is often vastly different from what He wants for us.
