Why is God so mysterious and intangible?

We ask ourselves this perennial question for one reason - the many obstacles that we face in our lives. These can make us oblivious to his presence. Each time we face difficult, life-changing issues or tragedies, we cannot help but wonder at His existence. But after all, he is God, meant to be beyond our human comprehension. If He were that easy to understand, there would be no need to pursue studies of the Bible. Indeed, there would not be a need for faith. For after all, underlying the concept...
