Charity

This weekend marks the beginning of the 2008 Bishops Appeal for Catholic Charities here in my diocese. As I've read here in our mini blogosphere recently, apparently we Catholics are a bunch of money-grubbing hypocrites throwing blame, accusation and judgment around like confetti. One writer here... So I’ve decided that since I’ve been leaving some of the longest danged comments in other people’s religion and spirituality blogs, it’s high time I pay the silly $3 and start my own. As I read around, I’ve noticed that very few bloggers here really want to "discuss" religion and spirituality. I’ve gladly found a few exceptions, and hope that they find a welcome place here to post some opinions and share in discussion. I have two rules: 1. NO NAME CALLING. I don't care who you are or what you believe, if you call anyone---ANYONE---a name in my blog you're blocked permanently. 2. No Generalizations. Qualify your statements carefully.
