EACH DAY HAS A BEGINNING, AND EACH DAY HAS AN END, WHICH IS IT?.....

FALSE DAWN There is a time before dawn, When light begins to accumulate, Simply reflection and refraction, Dimly, slowly one begins to see, Or worst thinks one can see, That is when with death they come, All night, by inches have they crept, With knives, guns and satchel charges, Until within your lines they are, Waiting for just enough light to see, To see their prey, to navigate at rush, For rush they will, hoping by surprise, To overrun and overwhelm defenders, We who fitfully, watch on,...
