FLIGHT END

It had been a long day, barely making the flight, Flying to Sydney non stop from LA for conference, Got to my seat, two scotch and cokes, night, night, I woke with a start, something just not right, There is a vibration, odd and sharp, yet slight, No one else seemed concerned, worried I, Flight time as crew and pilot, screaming at me, The bird is hurt, her structure failing, my skin crawls, Nothing seems amiss, then I see the chief flight attendant, Coming back from the flight deck, deliberate...
