AGE of YEARS

Age need not be a shroud, It should be patina of detail, Of the richness of life living, Journeys and misadventures, Joys and sorrows, and more, All the days of one’s life, A tournament and party, too, Testament that is a joy to savor, A gift to wearer and all around, Like a cape of many colors, Beautifully flowing with time, Ever a whirling, never still, Growing and layering, shifting, Each day, even each moment, Ever changing in wonder of time, All to be seen for those looking, Its folds...
