Another first for the little woman...

She and I are going to Conclave, a sci-fi convention up in Lansing, Michigan. It starts Friday, ends Sunday. Since I am in Metro Detroit, and she is 45 minutes south of me, I have to do some things (drop off rent, fill up, oil change), race down to get her after her class, and then fly up to Lansing... Another relative down...

The little woman met my sister and 5 yr old nephew this past Sunday. My daughter was getting her yellow sash in our kung fu class (insert grin from EXTREMELY proud dad here!). Like father, like son (ugh!)

Took the little woman to meet my dad and stepmom Sunday. I kinda figured it'd go well, but this is MY life, where Murphy's Law run amok. They seemed to like my new GF, so it's a go with them.
