I have kept my own council for many years on the issue of Gays and the church. I will say that my opinion has changed over the years. What I will not keep silent about is the use of parts of scripture to endorse or defend positions which are basically hate crimes. God clearly wanted Gay people.... Sign in to see full entry.

A star to steer by

Faith is a star that you wander by. It guides your life and gives you hope against troubles and pains. You can live without it but you never truly live until you embrace it. You have to find deep inside something that makes you better than you dared dream. This is the true essence of faith. There is... Sign in to see full entry.

Deadus Interuptus

Vows are promises we make. They are supposed to have serious meaning for us. When you find out someone lied about them it hurts. To be forced to question a relation so damaged is often painful and emotionally debilitating. I am not going to parse words today. I am justifiably angry today. I am... Sign in to see full entry.

Holding the Rage

There can be no greater sacrifice than giving one’s life. We expect this of soldiers, police officers and fire fighters. Emergency service work is risky and fraught with peril. Sometimes you just simply run out of time to tell the people you love that they are special and treasured. Darke Faith. In... Sign in to see full entry.

Destiny Calling

Destiny. The preordained path of one’s life. Free will. The choice to make a choice. Faith. Relying on belief to guide you. We all stumble along on the road of life. Tripping over ourselves and other people, some racing ahead and others getting lost. Can you see the world through a strangers eyes?... Sign in to see full entry.

Baskin Robbins God

God is gay, God is black, God is angry. Are any of the aforementioned statements a true depiction of God? How you answer that feeling says a lot on who God is to you. Perceptions of God. When do you know you have found God? Was he ever in fact truly lost? The old saying goes, “the Lord moves in... Sign in to see full entry.
