Got up early this morning and ran. The weather improved slightly over the past two days. It's only my second time out running since I arrived which seems like a century ago. It is 9 pm and Erika is sitting with Virginie, another teenager, watching a film on TV that the children made about Stalin. KALYPSO GOES TO BOSTON

This morning I'm told that Teresa, Kalypso's mother, will have to go to Boston. Her baby, Kalypso was premature, born in the 26th week. Although now 5 months old, it is about the size of a newborn.
