Raining and raining and raining...
rain rain go away come again? which other day? Oh bother. Just stay Rain, rain go away Come again? Which other day? Oh bother! Just stay. WOW! I think a wrote the first draft then the poem in two minutes. Guess I haven't lost my knack. Will have to ponder the poem for a while, and maybe revise a word here or there.

Work in progress...
I always think about trying to write a daily haiku, senryu or tanka, but don't get it going. These days I am more consistently at a computer keyboard rather than having a notebook on hand. If I try to keep a notebook with me, I invariably set it down somewhere only to run across it weeks later........So maybe I can play with drafts of daily poems on this site.........cloudy dreary day promised rain, delivering only brief downpours..... cloudy dreary day promises rain, delivers briefest of...
