Frustration should never be ignored.

The Facebook status of America today can be summed up in one-word Frustration. Now most of us know exactly what I am talking about. The list of items that have contributed to this feeling is growing every day. The pandemic, health care, education, finance, family, politics, human dignity, social... Sign in to see full entry.

Who is in control of your Life.

It is so easy to get sidetracked from what is truly important in life. We fight every day with a common foe called time. The fight comes in how we manage the time we have each day. Last month I had so many work-related issues that I only posted to my blog one time. Now I know that last month I was... Sign in to see full entry.

A New Way of Living

On Wednesday I had a doctor's appointment. I meet with my cardiologist about twice a year. Or every 6 mths. Now I usually schedule it early in the afternoon. My work hours are from 0445 to 1315 (4:45 am to 1:15pm). So I scheduled the appointment for 2:00 pm. This gives me about 45 minutes to an hour... Sign in to see full entry.

Who is Listening?

When someone shares their experiences. Many times we fail to listen. I know I often think to myself who really cares what I think. They don't know me. Why should anyone want to listen to what I have to say? For example my family. I often share my thoughts with my wife. Yet many times I can tell that... Sign in to see full entry.

The need to point out others mistakes.

My father was really good at letting me know when I messed up something. The crazy thing is I never felt like he was being mentally abusive. Now I have met and talked to others who felt like their parents were always picking on them. As if they could never do anything right. Many people hold on to... Sign in to see full entry.

I am truly afraid for our country. We don't have a love for our fellow man. There is no respect for each other. I have a... Sign in to see full entry.

I Cant Do It.

The other day I gave my grandson a task to complete. The task was not an unusual task. I asked him to clean the leaves from the swimming pool. It is a task that is needed often when we have storms in our area. One that my grandson has completed many times during the summer. When I asked him if he... Sign in to see full entry.

A life full of Hope

We are often reminded of the power of the human spirit. One key part of the human spirit is the need to survive. Hope inspires us to carry on even when the odds are not in our favor. Or should I say "Especially when the odds are not in our favor." Hope is another one of those magnificent powerful... Sign in to see full entry.

Love and Forgiveness

Two of my most favorite words are Love and Forgiveness. You see they are the dynamic duo. If there is no love forgiveness is pointless. Now I know my view of life is not always typical. Yet something so important as love is often taken for granted. Many people’s definition of love is so dangerous I... Sign in to see full entry.
