Last night's Cubs game vs Philly - was it longest pro-game in history?

Cubs won the 5 1/2 hour bout; but the game did not even come close in length to a 1981 battle between Pawtucket Red Sox and the Rochester Red Wings 8 1/2 hour battle. Baseball fans don't mind; the longer the battle, fans' fix is well provided. Sign in to see full entry.
