I have two children in their teens, a full-time job teaching non-native born Americans to study in English, a house to keep up, two dogs and a cat. I have read all of John LeCarre's portfolio and am waiting for his next entry. My current favorite author is Nelson DeMille, waiting for his next entry.
This year I plan to frequent "open mike night" at a few local taps. I am a guitar player. This will keep my chops in shape.
I am the English as a Second Language teacher at an inner-city middle school. My interest is in preparing those who neither read nor write in English, to attend high schools locally, and not drop out. I do this by teaching them to read and write.
