Excerpt

Joe Q. Athlete comes to the plate in the World Series.  It's the bottom of the ninth and his team trails 6-3.  There are two outs and the bases are loaded.  Joe Q. is no ordinary ballplayer.  He is a .300 hitter with power and speed.  He's a Gold Golve fielder.  He's a perennial all-star.  He's just the man his team wants at the plate this moment.

The confrontataion between pitcher and catcher commences as Joe Q. steps into the box.  As he takes the first pitch for a strike, the T.V. cameras cut to the stands.  The audience sees a young man sitting in the box seats with the player's wives and girlfriends.  The announcer says that he is Joe Q.'s boyfriend. "Boy, he must be dying with every pitch," says the color commentator.  This goes on throughout the at bat.  Joe Q. battles. The T.V. camera shows his boyfriend.  All the way up to a full count of 3-2.

Now the World Series rides on one pitch.  A quick cut to Joe Q.'s boyfriend.  Then back to Joe Q.  Then the pitch.  Joe Q. crushes it to deep centerfield over the 400 foot sign for a grand slam home run to win the Series.  As he rounds the bases, the stadium goes nuts.  The T.V. cameras cut to Joe Q.'s boyfriend who is being hugged by the other players wives (maybe) and mobbed by other fans around him (maybe).  Joe Q. crosses home plate and is hoisted to the shoulders of his teammates.  He celebrates with them for a while then goes over to the stands to find his boyfriend.  They embrace on camera (maybe) and kiss each other on the lips.  They look into each other's eyes and say "I love you." Then embrace.
