Did the Angels take her or did she fly on her own? Some may wonder, she wasn't a "Born Again Christian". She was a Libra with the same birthday as her best friend and me withwhom we shared laughable traits in common. She won't wonder or guess about judgement day anymore and she didn't ever talked about the afterlife or if there is one or two or three to the third power times seven. We never discused her faith or lack thereof. We just laughed and talked and had a meeting of the minds. We were kindred spirits and friends of friends- people, ladies of a nation and a generation of taking advantage of life andliving it to the fullest.
Shirley was sunshine on a rainey day, wise, intellegent, witty and gay...not flamboyant nor claravoyant but a down to earth angel in her very own special way. A true freind to those around her, interested and engaged-not to be married kind, but rather the kind of lady that held her own and was an example to us all of how to live life to the fullest.
God Bless you Shirely Stevenson you will be missed, but always remembered in our hearts, minds and souls as a great soul to know!
