Where I'm from, potluck dinners are first nature. Everyone brings something to the table. As I have brought this wonderful dessert to my potluck dinners at work, it's quick and easy as well as a beloved favorite in the midwest.
I prefer the fruit cocktail, but make sure to drain the water out of the can.
This was a recipe that my grandmother taught me and so whenever we have family get togethers or just even whenever I feel like it, I make this dish. I have to go with the rather large containers and very rarely do I have any left to bring back home.
