I have never read anything but good about Jimmy Carter. I know he was a hard-working kid who picked, bagged, and sold peanuts and he was also a property owner at the age of 13. He definitely had a strong work ethic and he was a humanitarian. Regular smile

Too gentle and good for a political life

I believe one has to be as tough as leather to be a politician and a shortness of true love for one's fellow country people. I don't say they have to be dishonest, but a true gentle compassionate soul like President Carter is too good for a polly. I have followed his life with admiration perhaps more since his presidency ended.
